Hangzhou, referred to as Hangzhou, the ancient name of Lin'an, Qiantang, is the capital of Zhejiang Province, a sub-provincial city, the core city of Hangzhou Metropolitan Area, megacity, one of the central cities of the Yangtze River Delta. Hangzhou is located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, the western end of Hangzhou Bay, is the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" extension of the intersection of the "Online Silk Road" strategic hub city. It is a strategic hub city of the "Online Silk Road". By the end of 2022, Hangzhou has a land area of 16,850 square kilometers, with 10 districts, one county-level city and two counties under its jurisdiction, a GDP of 1,875.3 billion yuan, and a resident population of 12,376,000 people.

Hangzhou is one of the eight ancient capitals of China and a famous historical and cultural city in China. It started with the Xiaoshan Cross-Huqiao Culture in the Neolithic Age. The Liangzhu culture, more than 5,000 years ago, is known as the "dawn of Chinese civilization". Tourist attractions include West Lake Scenic Area, Xixi National Wetland Park, Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal (Canal Scenic Area), Thousand Island Lake, Spring Dawn of the Su Causeway, and Wind Lotus of the Qu Yuan, and so on.
